Tahiti Day #8: Chilling at Our Guesthouse
Before Heading to PPT Airport

TAHITI ISLAND, French Polynesia – Mom and I spent a third post-cruise day relaxing at Relais Fenua guesthouse in Paea, 18 km (11 miles) southwest of Papeete, prior to our evening taxi to PPT airport to fly back to Florida.

Got up at 12:30 p.m. Mom had visited reception to extend our check-out time to 7 p.m. for $60. This way we could stay at the guesthouse until our late-night flight to San Francisco.

Ate breakfast, blog writing, ate lunch, and more blogging. Then went for a swim the pool and read. Mom showed me the dress she brought a local shop two days ago.

Packed for the long journey back to Mom’s house in The Villages, Florida. Our pre-arranged taxi to PPT airport arrived on schedule at 7 p.m.

We had a fantastic three weeks here in French Polynesia, but we’re ready to head back. Here’s hoping our flights to San Francisco and Orlando go smoothly!
