NTD News today aired a story about Lucas Wall’s Supreme Court emergency application for a preliminary injunction against the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention, Transportation Security Administration, President Joseph Biden, and five other governmental agencies to immediately halt enforcement of the Federal Transportation Mask Mandate. Wall was denied boarding June 2 at Orlando International Airport for refusing to cover his face. He filed his lawsuit June 7 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida in Orlando.

Attorney Robert Gruler, in his online talk show today, reviewed Lucas Wall’s lawsuit against the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention, Transportation Security Administration, President Joseph Biden, and five other governmental agencies seeking to strike down the Federal Transportation Mask Mandate after he was denied boarding June 2 at Orlando International Airport for refusing to cover his face.

A fully vaccinated frequent traveler unable to wear a mask submitted an emergency application today to the U.S. Supreme Court asking it to enjoin the government from enforcing the Federal Transportation Mask Mandate pending a final resolution of his lawsuit in the U.S. District Court in Orlando.

Lucas Wall, 44, of Washington, D.C., sent the application and appendix to Justice Clarence Thomas, who oversees federal courts in the 11th Circuit. Wall requests Thomas issue a preliminary injunction against the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention, Transportation Security Administration, and other federal agencies to stop the mask mandate everywhere. He needs emergency relief no later than July 16 so he can take a July 17 flight to Germany, a trip he’s already had to postpone twice.

A rideshare driver not willing to leave customers on the side of the road for not wearing a mask filed a federal lawsuit June 28 against the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention, U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker, and the Illinois Department of Public Health requesting a federal judge strike down the Federal Transportation Mask Mandate.

Justin Mahwikizi, 36, of Homewood, Illinois, alleges the mask mandate violates his freedom of religion by forcing him to violate his faith in the Good Samaritan Principle, which requires helping those in need. The FTMM forces Mahwikizi to refuse service to riders who can’t or won’t cover their face – or even those who simply forgot to bring a mask since they are no longer required in Illinois for the fully vaccinated.

A frequent traveler unable to wear a mask filed suit today against Southwest Airlines, Alaska Airlines, Allegiant Air, Delta Air Lines, Frontier Airlines, JetBlue Airways, and Spirit Airlines for discriminating against passengers with medical conditions that prevent them from wearing face masks in violation of the Air Carrier Access Act. This case appears to be the first in the nation to challenge airline policies that make it practically impossible to obtain an exemption from the Federal Transportation Mask Mandate.
